Like most website operators, SurveyPencil collects non-personally-identifying information of the sort that web browsers and servers typically make available, such as the browser type, language preference, referring site, and the date and time of each visitor request. SurveyPencil’s purpose in collecting non-personally identifying information is to better understand how SurveyPencil’s visitors use its website. From time to time, SurveyPencil may release non-personally-identifying information in the aggregate, e.g. by publishing a report on trends in the usage of its website.
SurveyPencil also collects potentially personally-identifying information like Internet Protocol (IP) addresses. SurveyPencil does not use such information to identify its visitors, and does not disclose such information, other than under the same circumstances that it uses and discloses personally-identifying information, as described below.
All non-personally-identifying information, potentially personally-identifying and personally identifying-information described above is stored on restricted database servers.
If we ever send you information by email concerning new products, services or information that you did not expressly request, we will provide you with an email address by which you may request no further notices.
Any external address book data (email contacts, etc.) that a user voluntarily gives SurveyPencil access to will only be used for the described feature (looking up friends, etc.), and will not be stored or repurposed.
